In a world full of ordinary, hand-crafted stands out from the crowd
When viewed against the backdrop of mass produced products stocked by the big DIY warehouses and building supplies companies, our privacy screens, fencing, infill panels or gates really make a statement. We talk to metal fabricators Glass Boundaries and their design team to find out more about their new venture.
Q What made you establish your new sheet metal fabrication workshop in Wangara?
A We have a well-established glass pool screen business, many of the architects and home owners we work with asked if we could also supply fencing, infill panels, privacy screens and gates. It was clear there was a need, which is why we decided to set up a new branch to the business that can make a high quality, aluminium or stainless steel products that are hand finished and just that little bit different.
Q What makes your products different?
A Two things stand out... flexibility – we can custom make our products to fit non-standard or hard to fit spaces and creativity - we've invested in a state of the art CNC plasma cutting bench which means we can create beautiful customised aluminium screens to enhance your indoor and outdoor areas.
Q Can you talk us through the design, fabrication and installation phase?
A Quite often Architects or Designers will specify a design - in these circumstances we can provide a quote to fabricate and install.
We also add value by offering a customised service, where we work with your ideas and come up with designs inspired from Instagram or Pinterest.
Phase two is the fabrication process which takes place in our Perth sheet metal fabrication workshop. We partner with a trusted local company who can powder coat any colour in the Dulux Colourbond range.
Our highly skilled team of welders and installers ensure the panels, fences or gates are installed to the highest standards which meet Australian building codes.
Q Do you also make interior screens?
A Yes we do. We work with your Interior Designer to develop innovative ways to screen or divide up large rooms to create more intimate, cosy spaces. Inserting our panels into frames and adding subtle lighting helps to produce a tranquil and comfortable place to relax and unwind.
Q What is your point of difference?
A Our objective is to provide our clients with a large range of decorative screens, architecturally designed fencing and stainless steel or aluminium gates and infill panelling, all manufactured to the highest standards and built to stand the test of time.
Q Where can people find you?
A We are based at Unit 15/51 Lancaster Rd, Wangara 6065 and service the greater metropolitan area and most regional centres. Talk to one of our Sales Team on 08 6201 6475 or send us an email enquiry at email@example.com more information.
